What happens next

  1. Tell us the basics

Business, city, website and the problem to solve.

  2. We review it

We look at your site and local search results first.

  3. We talk it through

A senior strategist calls you back with specifics.

Three ways to get in touch

Each channel reaches the same person, so pick whichever suits your day.

  • Call (604) 632-4959. Good if you want to talk the issue through straight away, or if you are between meetings and prefer speaking to typing.
  • Text (604) 632-4959. The lowest-effort way to begin. Owners often text from a job site or a warehouse floor, and that is fine.
  • Email Ali@Sedighi.ca. Useful when you want to describe the situation in more detail or copy a business partner.

Whichever you choose, you will be speaking with Ali Sedighi, who leads every engagement. The about page explains who he is and how the firm works.

What to include in your first message

You do not need a polished brief. A few facts help us prepare for the free initial consultation, and a template like this is plenty:

Business: [Business name], in [City], [Province]. About [Number of employees] people. The main issue: [Main issue, in a sentence or two]. Best time to reach me: [Day and time].

If you can, add one number that shows the problem, such as receivables that have crept past 60 days, a service line you suspect loses money, or the hours you spend on work someone else could do. Do not send financial statements or customer data at this stage; those come later, under written confidentiality terms.

What happens next

The path from first message to engagement has three steps.

  1. We reply and arrange a time. Usually within one business day, by whichever channel you used.
  2. Free initial consultation, 30 minutes. By phone, online by video call, or in person. We ask about the business, the issue and what has already been tried, and tell you honestly whether a business diagnostic, a narrower project, a few hourly sessions, or nothing at all is the right next step.
  3. A written proposal. If paid work makes sense, you receive the engagement model, scope, deliverables, milestones and price in writing. You decide in your own time, and nothing starts until you accept it.

The engagement models and price ranges are on the pricing page.

Meeting online or in person

Consultations are offered both online by video call and in person, as well as by phone, text and email. Many owners mix the two: a site walk-through in person during the diagnostic, then monthly steering meetings by video call. Tell us what suits your team and we will plan around it.

A note on time zones

Our hours are set in Pacific time, so owners further east should allow for the difference.

Your time zone Our 9 a.m.–6 p.m. Pacific in your time
Mountain (Alberta, most of the NWT) 10 a.m.–7 p.m.
Central (Manitoba, Saskatchewan in winter) 11 a.m.–8 p.m.
Eastern (most of Ontario and Quebec) 12 p.m.–9 p.m.
Atlantic (NB, NS, PEI) 1 p.m.–10 p.m.
Newfoundland 1:30 p.m.–10:30 p.m.

For Atlantic and Newfoundland clients, early-afternoon meetings usually work for both sides, and a text sent first thing in your morning will be waiting when our day starts. Regional notes are on the areas we serve page.

Working with us, briefly

A few points owners ask about at this stage:

  • No obligation. The initial consultation is free and does not commit you to anything.
  • No lock-in. Project and retainer terms are set out in your proposal.
  • One senior lead. The person you speak to first is the person who does the analysis and presents the findings.
  • Clear boundaries. We provide business consulting. Your CPA and lawyer remain your advisers on tax, accounting and legal matters, and we work alongside them.

Frequently asked questions

What is the quickest way to reach you?

A text to (604) 632-4959. Two lines naming your business type and the issue you want solved are enough, and we reply to arrange the free initial consultation.

When are you available?

Mon–Fri 9–6 Pacific. We usually reply within one business day, and messages that arrive in the evening or on a weekend are answered on the next business day.

Can we meet in person instead of by video?

Yes. Consultations and working sessions are held online by video call or in person, and you can choose either for any meeting during the engagement.

What should I send before the first conversation?

Nothing beyond a short description. Financial statements and other documents are requested only after a proposal is agreed, under the confidentiality terms written into it.
